Why I Created WayFinder
Early in 2025, I found myself unexpectedly on the job market. After 10 years at the same company, what I thought I knew about job searching was completely different than I could have ever realized.
I did everything "right": religiously tracking applications in Excel, creating calendar events for daily tasks, monitoring stats and metrics. But I still found myself struggling with what to do next. The spreadsheet couldn't help me nurture relationships or remind me to follow up with contacts. Each day blurred together and I felt unsure if I was actually making progress.
So I decided to put my background in product, engineering, and UX to work. I built the tool I wished I had from day one: a CRM for job seekers that doesn't require a system admin certification to use.
